Después de un tiempo de exámenes y frío, ahi va un vídeo de unas sesiones en diferentes spots del río Thames en Londres.
Well, after a while, cold weather and too much work from uni, I finally have some time to rest from school, ski, and probably start paddling again if the weather is good... Last autumn was pretty warm here in southern Europe, so we could paddle till early december, it was really good!!
After my trip to England in November for the Hurley Classic, I had a few sessions with some friends in Millau, south of France, and after that, during Xmas break I decided that I wanted to go back to the UK, so on December 21st I flew to London again. Everything was good, apart from the massive snowstorm that was hitting England at that moment, so aiports were closed due the snow, and we had to land in Cradiff, Whales...a little bit far from London... anyway it was good. It was cold and there was snow everywhere, so it looked really cool to go boating, but it was really hard to stay in the water longer than 30 minutes... As the week went on, the weather got better and temperature raised, it was even sunny sometimes!! so the snow melt and different playspots came in, Spepperton weir and mostly Marsh. So we spent the week kayaking in Marsh, the wave and the place is really cool, and there is an apple tree at the parking place!!
After that snow came back, and so cold luckily for me I was going home, and however I had a hard way back, everything was allright, just happy to have had such a good xmas break boating with my mates in some of the best playspots of the UK!!
Well, after all this boring stuff, here is a little video from my Xmas trip to the UK, paddling in the Thames with my english mates!
Thanks to Adidas, SquareRock, and my mates Doug, Dan, Matt, Craig, Mark, Paula... for driving me around and Mark Childerhouse for the photos!
See ya on the next one!
